First let me tell scott that in reguards to the post he directed me to.
My site is not finished, as in its design.
Anyways i found a bug.
After a tutorial has been submitted and you go into admin panel and attempt to modify it.
Say try to change the sub catagory, the only options available in the drop down menu is All and any other is just blank.
And it doesnt matter which blank one you choose, it always choose general.

Also the java script used in the ajax, doesnt always work.
You click on the main item in the menu and it will just sit there "Loading......"
and go no where.
What do you mean by it is blank? Do you mean that the option is there but there is no text or do you mean no other options appear?

In regards to your javascript problem, what browser are you using?
It means that a drop down appears, and what should be three or four options to choose from.
But there is only one that is visible and three that are blank.

As for browser, i am using Internet Explorer.
Do both of the problems you mentioned work for you when you use them in the demo?

Now try:

1. If they both work then then there is probably something wrong with how it is stored in the database. Try going to the "Modify" page in the Sub-Category section and does it list the sub-categories there when you select a category, or is it blank?

2. Go to the "Approve" page under the category Tutorials and when you select approve from the drop down, and the sub-categories appear on the left, does it list the sub-categories for that specific category?
In the demo when i choose from within the admin panel to modify, it gives only one option.
That option in the drop down is "Example of a custom tutorial".
And nothing else.
Under admin/ approve, it does provide the main, once chosen the main, it then provides sub options.
I've also encountered this blank sub-category bug when trying to edit a tutorial. Is their a fix for this yet?
I can't seem to recreate this bug, I have tried Firefox 2, IE 6, IE 5.5, IE 5, and Konqueror. Unless both of you are having this problem in IE 7 (which I don't have, and will look into if you both are) then I don't know what to tell you.
I'm also using Firefox the latest version so I'm also not sure why this is happening. If you'd like I can give you access to my site and you can take a look around.
The thing is, sitereboot said the problem also happens to him when he tries it in the demo:

http://tutorialms.com/demo/admin/

The demo works for me though, so that should mean that the problem is client-side (the user's browser) and not server-side (php problem)
The admincp of the demo works for me but it doesn't work on my site. Hmm... so it's definately not server side for me. My offer still stands, if you'd like to have access to my site I'm willing to help.
